Surfing with a Purpose

So I have no idea, what the Lord has been speaking to all if you. But I know that the Lord has spoken to me and made it so real to me lately that He is about ready to do something HUGE. I can’t even begin to explain what all has been taking place over the past day, and how much the Lord has spoken to me toady. He just keeps confirming to me over and over that He is in control of everything. And that He will work everything out for His glory and our good in the end. We are just weak men and women who in our power can do absoutly nothing. But with Him in us, and working though us all is possible. I know that we are where we are, doing what we do, being who we are, right at this very moment and the Lord is about to do something so amazing that we can’t understand. I just want to encourage all of you to hold nothing back, and make your self open for the Lord’s work. Seriously let’s live a life with no regrets, completely sold out for the Lord. Let us put on the whole armor of God and get ready for the Lord to use us. In my missionary biography class I have been seeing a pattern in each person’s life; that the reason God used them is because they knew their God and then made themselves available for His work. Like it says in

Daniel 11:32 “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

Like William Carey (one of the most influential missionaries ever) said "Expect great thing from God. Attempt great things for God”

So I really want to encourage all of you, to really make your self available for God to use you. There is no time like now for us to staring serving the Lord in everything we do. It’s a challenge to everyone. But is know this; that the war has already been won. And the Lord comes out triumpht in the end. So take a stand, be bold, step out in faith, and accept the challenge. And know this that the fire is what refines the gold, and burns away all its impurities.
